The installation “Project My Label” is a prime example of the artist’s exploration of the themes of identity, society, and nature. The piece consists of an interactive ephemeral art installation located at Pinecrest Gardens as part of the concurrence of (FAMA) and (WTA). The artist created a mailbox and placed paper labels with wool on a fence and printed various social labels with semi-permanent markers. The artist then sat inside a cage for hours, observing people’s reactions as they approached. When participants read the instructions, the artist documented their expressions on Instagram and encouraged them to choose a label, tie it on the fence, and share a photo with the tag @ProjectMyLabel.

Over time, the labels became eroded and disintegrated due to the elements, symbolizing how societal labels can lose their power and become meaningless. “Project My Label” invites viewers to reflect on the labels society places on them and to consider the labels they choose for themselves.
