    Video Performance

    Desigual Makeup

Video Performance "Desigual Makeup" is a self-portrait video in which I intuitively apply body paint, inspired by indigenous cultures, as if preparing for war, to express my feelings and frustrations about social injustices. In my search for equality, the distortion in the video serves as a metaphor for humanity’s attempts to conceal the inevitable, addressing issues such as the invisibility of queer history, indigenous massacres, and domestic abuses.

    Music: Cambur Pintón

    Noche De San Juan

In this act of courage and vulnerability, I immerse myself in the ancient Night of San Juan ritual, executing backward leaps into the sea to purify my soul and alleviate my frustrations about social injustices. In this video, each backward jump represents an act of surrender, an opportunity to leave behind negativity. My work is a call to action and a reminder that we can be agents of change in this world.

    Music: Alex Uribe
